The Garde de Bordon freeride area, at an altitude of between 2400m and 3000m, was the first area of this type to be opened in Switzerland. Inaugurated in 2000 and100 hectares in size, it offers countless off-piste opportunities.
Take care! The freeride area has no security and is only open when the avalanche danger is below 3. An avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe are recommended. One should never ski there alone.
