Cross-country skiing

In the skating or classic style, illuminated by night, easy or more demanding – a varied choice of signposted cross-country ski pistes are laid out for you with starting points at Zinal.

Aficionados of cross-country skiing, whether in the skating or classic style, will be delighted with the facilities in the Val d’Anniviers! Starting from Zinal, you can swallow up the kilometers on our signposted pistes, which are all free of charge.

Advice and arrangements:

  • Most sports shops in the Val d’Anniviers hire cross-country skiing equipment
  • Following severe falls of snow, it may be difficult to follow the route
  • The pistes may be closed at any time for safety reasons (avalanches, snowfalls). Ask at the Tourist Office before you set out

Zinal - Plats de la Lée

Starting point :

From the (free) car park at Plats de la Lée or below the skating rink

Location :

Along the Navizence

Distance :

19 km of signposted pistes (12 km for classic and 7 km for skating)

Difficulty level :

Blue piste = easy / Red piste = difficult

Please note :

1.5 km of piste is illuminated in the evenings until 21:00
